Have you lost contact with a family member due to an armed conflict, natural disaster or other major disaster?
Our main task is to restore family ties between individual family members, so:
- If you are currently on the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria
- If you are separated from your family (or family members) due to war, armed conflict or disaster (natural or man-made)
- If you do not know where your family members are

Can I do something right now?
At www.tracetheface.org you will find photos of people who are also looking for their loved ones. If you recognize any of them, and yourself as the wanted person and want to make contact with him, please contact us (contact information is at the bottom of the page).

If you have a wife, husband or children under the age of 18 (or you are under the age of 18) in another country
The search service helps separated family members who have lost touch with each other during war, armed conflict and disaster. Although our support is subject to the approval of the authorities, if you fall into any of the above categories, do not hesitate to contact us (contact information is below the page) so that we can assess your case and take appropriate action. .
Do you have difficulty communicating with members of your family due to war, armed conflict or disaster? Has anyone close to you been detained (eg a prison or detention center) and you have no contact with him?
The search services of the Bulgarian Red Cross also deal with the transmission of special messages, where other methods of communication do not work (anymore). These Red Cross messages are sometimes the only way to communicate between prisoners of war, detainees and their families. If you think we can help you, please contact us via the contacts below.
