Social service offices offer a variety of services related to the care of children, the sick, the elderly and people with special needs who cannot be cared for on their own. The Bulgarian Red Cross acts as an intermediary between the care providers and those wishing to use them. The services are provided both in the homes of the citizens and in hospitals for a fee. Such offices operate in the cities of Sofia, Plovdiv and Stara Zagora.
All interested citizens should contact the regional councils of the Bulgarian Red Cross.
