On the day of the journey, disabled persons and their companions must be at the station at least 30 minutes before the time of departure of the train. An employee of the Bulgarian Red Cross and the head of the respective train transport the passenger to the platform and place him in a specialized car via a mobile platform. The dispatching stations keep in touch with each other and provide assistance to these persons upon their arrival. The service is provided jointly by Bulgarian State Railways EAD and the Railway Infrastructure National Company.
